We have already recommended Sawtooth Roofing to several people. From the very beginning Darrin made sure we had ample information and was very responsive in patiently answered our questions. After multiple roofing quotes, he was the first roofer that showed and explained the mathematical formula utilized to determine how many vents one’s house needs. This and other shared information showed me that Darrin truly was very proficient in his field and Sawtooth was a company we could trust our home with. Because of some health issues, this was very important for us in making sure our attic air flow was healthy and without issues due to improper amount of vents. Sawtooth not only uses quality material but installs with quality work.
As one who’s highly health sensitive to any building issues, Darrin and the team really worked above and beyond with particular details we needed. I was so grateful for their patient listening, communicating clearly via email/phone/in person, and asking questions to make sure they understood what we were looking for, along with taking any extra time needed to ensure quality work. Because of this, for the first time in a long time, I’ve increasingly experienced better health than I’ve had for quite awhile. As I’ve said several times before, having a roof properly installed was the best ‘doctor’s’ visit I could’ve had!!! The roofing team was also exceptional in the same way, as was the office staff. And, by the way, to top it off, the roof also looks fantastic! Thank you Sawtooth!

Our assigned contractor Greg was flexible and easy to work with. Crew was polite and respectful. The job was done in 3 days. Pricing was competitive and we ended up paying $1200 less then the quote. Clean up was good.

A great service and great product for a fair price. Actually the best price we were quoted for a premium product. The roofers were courteous, efficient, on-time and very clean. Our 2 story house and detached garage were completed in 3 days. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Highly recommend.

Gave me a free inspection and a good recommendation on a new roof. Communication was great ! The tear off and rebuild went very fast. The crew was great and cleaned up afterwards. And the roof looks great!

Replaced existing roof that had been poorly installed. Very pleased with the result. Tom was responsive and explained their proposal and materials clearly. Cost was reasonable. Job was completed in a timely manner with attention to safety. Removed an unused interior chimney to the roof level. Only minimal (unavoidable) damage to plants. Cleaned up debris from old roof.

Recently replaced our roof by Sawtooth, Sawtooth did an excellent job. Also the quote from Sawtooth was at good price with high quality Owens Crowning Trudefinition shingles with PLATINUM warranty. Among 6 quotes Sawtooth has given the excellent quote for my complex roof. Workers were highly skilled and did an excellent job.. Another excellent thing I like Sawtooth, they added extra vent on the roof to balance in and out air flow which helps the house keeping more cooler at hot weather and less usage of Air conditioner.

I picked Sawtooth out of 6 bids. I needed a full tear off of asphalt shingles plus a layer of cedar shake, repair to a soffit, and two skylights. The crew worked very hard to get it done in 4 days and I'm very happy.

Sawtooth were very professional in bidding a full tear-off and new roof installation, submitting the agreement, timeline and method of payment for carrying out the work. We agreed the price and time frame, weather permitting, (winter time install), and the work was carried out in less than four days leaving the site clean and free of debris. We are very happy with the service and would recommend Sawtooth to other residential owners we know.

We had our 24 year old roof replaced back in 2021. While we were listing the house in 2024, it became very apparent that that contractor did not install our roof system properly back in 2021. From the first interaction when Tom came out to look over the roof and give an estimate through the installation and afterwards, the inspection, the staff is very helpful and they made sure we understood the process. Unfortunately we had to completely replace our roof but fortunately this crew made it a little easier. They were kind, efficient, cost effective and fast. All things you'd want in a roofing company. The warranty is mainly why we went with this company after at least 5 estimates. The only issue we had was parking but our house is at the end of a court so it normally has issues. I just wish they had parked outside of it like we asked. Especially on garbage day ?

Darrin was over at a neighbor's house re-doing their roof. I asked him to come by and look at ours. He was happy to do it and I appreciated his honest opinion, but I especially appreciated that when he saw the state of the rubber gaskets on our vent pipes he said he'd replace them - for free! I offered twice to pay him and he said 'no big deal' it's just a good thing to do. He walked up on our roof and was done in five minutes! Wow, would totally ask Darrin for a bid when it comes time.

We had a wood shake roof and contracted Sawtooth Roofing to tear off the old roof, install new plywood on the entire roof. They then installed the new premier roof. They did it all in a very professional manner. The work crew started every day in a timely manner, worked hard and kept the work area as clean as they could. We are very pleased with the final product, I did have sticker shock when I got the bid but I feel they did everything to earn it.
We are very pleased with the final product knowing that what is under the roof was done properly and knowing we now have a great new roof for the protection of our home. Thanks Sawtooth and the great crew that installed our new roof, it looks great and we couldn’t be happier.

They did the fastest roofing job I ever saw. They started one morning and they were cleaned up an out by noon the very next day. The quality of the work was excellent. I looked at a neighbor's roof, done the same month by a different contracter and they had uneven surfaces. Mine was perfect. I have used Sawtooth before and I will continue using them.

I have been in real estate business for over 17 years and been involved in dealing with many contractors. I have seen too many roofs poorly installed by unqualified roofing companies. We hired Sawtooth Roofing for a new roof on our personal home. We couldn’t be more pleased. They delivered on all promises and more. They were on time, clean and the price didn't change. Customer service was a 4+. Very friendly and kept all their promises. Workmanship was a 2. Poor attention to detail. Broken siding and reused flashing that was poorly done. Nails and bits of garbage EVERYWHERE (we have pets, too!)
We called to complain and they did sent someone out. However, they never communicated with us that was happening.
We called to follow up and they met us, walked through our concerns and EVERYTHING was fixed to our satisfaction.
It just took a while. If more quality work would have been done from the beginning, the score would have been much higher.
